swissceramics is committed to the qualitative development of professional education and works closely together with the professional schools. As an organization made up of the ceramic working-world we bring employers and employees together under one roof. The concerns of professionals, as well as of students (as in the case of educational reform) is represented by swissceramics in dealings with the BBT (Federal Office for Professional Training and Technology) and cantonal authorities.

The association is leading the project to develop new educational regulations for all the ceramic professions. We are working closely together with ceramic educators and schools, vocational educators and other related associations.

The new education plan took effect on 01.01.2011. You can find a guide and the regulations in downloads.
