Charlotte Hodes

Charlotte Hodes (UK, 1959), internationally exhibited, presents work that fuses a fine art practice with the applied arts. Trained as a painter, she has been using ceramic tableware as a support since the 1990s. She transposes the methods of collage and printing to the field of ceramics, nourished by her research into the transfer printing archives of the Spode factory in Stoke-on-Trent.
